Built on Supabase

Supabase gives you Postgres, auth, storage and row level security behind one SDK, which is the fastest way to start and the hardest thing to unpick later. Kits built on it are quick to get running; kits built on your own Postgres with Prisma or Drizzle keep the database portable at the cost of wiring auth yourself. Migrating between the two after launch means rewriting every query and all of your session handling, so this is the decision to make first.
