ShipAI
A starter kit laid out for coding agents, not just for humans
ShipAI is built on a premise none of the older kits were: that most of the code will be written by an agent, and the codebase should be laid out for one. Conventions, docs and structure are aimed at Claude Code and Cursor as much as at a human reader.
What you get
- Auth via Better Auth, Postgres with Drizzle, i18n and shadcn/ui
- Billing through Stripe or Polar
- Four surfaces rather than one: marketing site, user dashboard, admin panel and a Telegram assistant bot
- AI workflow integration wired in rather than bolted on
- Full source and a commercial licence, lifetime updates
The trade-off
This is a young product in a category that barely existed a year ago, and "agent-ready" is currently a claim every vendor is racing to make. Judge it on the repo conventions and the documentation, which is where the difference is real or absent. At this price you are also paying near the top of the mid-range for a name with little public track record yet.
Buy it if
You build primarily through an agent and you want a codebase whose structure helps rather than fights that, instead of retrofitting conventions onto a kit written for humans in 2023.
