Three billing providers out of the box
staarter.dev makes one bet the rest of this board mostly does not: that you will need more than one billing provider. Stripe, Paddle and Lemon Squeezy are all supported out of the box, which sounds like a checkbox until you are the one deciding how to charge customers in twenty countries.
Why that matters
Stripe is the default and the cheapest, but it leaves EU VAT as your problem. Paddle and Lemon Squeezy act as merchant of record and handle that tax for a larger cut. Most founders pick wrong at least once, and billing is the single integration you least want to redo after you have live subscriptions. Having all three wired means the decision stays reversible.
What else you get
- Localisation, which is normally an expensive retrofit
- Blog, database, storage and email
- SEO configuration and dark mode
The trade-off
No admin panel in the listed features, so support screens and account management arrive as a later project. The price sits well above the median of this catalogue, and you are paying for breadth rather than depth in any one area.
Buy it if
You sell internationally, or you expect to, and you want the merchant-of-record decision left open rather than baked into your codebase.
